Walk through it...

Walk through the scary parts, don't give in to fear

life throws at you and become a stronger person.

He's just a little boy...

He stands at the plate with his heart pounding fast;

The bases are loaded; the die has been cast.

Mom and Dad can not help him; he stands all alone.

A hit at this moment would send the team home.

The ball nears the plate; he swings and he misses.

There's a groan from the crowd, with some boos and hisses.

A thoughtless voice cries, "Strike out the bum!"

Tears fill his eyes; the game's no longer fun.

Remember - he's just a boy who stands all alone.

So open your heart and give him a break.

For it's moments like this a man you can make.

Keep this in mind when you hear someone forget.

He's just a little boy, not a man yet.

I'm not sure who wrote this.  I found it on a friends link on Facebook.  It was printed on a sign attached to a little league diamond fence.  Underneath it said donated by Cana Tigers, which I believe is a team in Corsicana, TX

I think the bikes are a little overprotected.

Sweep it up and move on with your day...

Some mornings you have to sprinkle a little kitty litter

 on the ground, stomp it down and sweep it up.

Then you start your day over.

Spring...

Everyone should have a Spring ritual to pull your mindset out of Winter's

hibernation.  Mine is pulling my 1978 Honda 550 four out of the garage

and firing her up for the first time of the season.  What a great experience

hearing her engines rev and smelling her gassy exhaust.  Once she is 

warmed up I take her for a ride to set her free on the open road again.

Take a moment to show your children the world up close.

They may not appreciate it at first,

but the memory will last a lifetime for them and you.

Road Tripping...

Jump in your vehicle, head in any direction and just road trip.

You won't regret it and the experience will be unforgettable.
